アメリカ映画ベスト100の脚本（スクリーンプレイ）を集めてみた
アメリカ映画ベスト100（10周年エディション）は、アメリカ映画協会（American Film Institute; AFI）が「AFIアメリカ映画100年(AFI 100 Years... )」シリーズ http://www.afi.com/100Years/ の一環として2007年に選出した最上のアメリカ映画１００本のリスト http://www.afi.com/100Years/movies10.aspx である。
1998年にもベスト１００を選んだことがあるのだが、それから１０周年ということで、再度選んでみたらしい。
下のリストではこれを元に、ＤＶＤと脚本（スクリーンプレイやトランススクリプト）へのリンクをつけたものである（邦題の方にＤＶＤへのリンク、原題の方に脚本へのリンクがある）。
もともとパブリックドメインＤＶＤの字幕がすごいことになっていたので、ネットで脚本（スクリーンプレイ）を探したことが、このリストを作った発端である。
残念ながら１００本すべての脚本（スクリーンプレイ）を見つけることはできていない。グリフィスやチャップリンやキートンのサイレント映画は仕方がないとしても、『十二人の怒れる男』や『ベン・ハー』が見つかっていないのは残念だ。
パブリックドメインＤＶＤは、ハリウッド映画に妙に偏っているのだけれど、1930～50年代のハリウッド映画というのは、本当によくできていて何度見ても勉強になる（コメディやその後繰り返し消費される物語の定型がこの時期できたという事情もある）。
ともあれ、こんなリストも何かの役に立つかもしれない。
